MEET THE TEAM
A THOUGHTFUL APPROACH TO HOME
At Hailey Kolbe Design, every project begins with understanding the people who will call it home. We believe the most beautiful spaces aren't simply designed to be admired—they're designed to be lived in.
Through a thoughtful and highly personalized process, we create interiors that feel collected over time, grounded in purpose, and reflective of the lives unfolding within them. The result is a home that feels effortless, enduring, and distinctly your own.
FOUNDER | PRINCIPAL DESIGNER
HAILEY KOLBE
Hailey Kolbe is a nationally published designer based in Bryan, Texas and founder of Hailey Kolbe Design. With ten years of experience in the field of design Hailey has learned the value of operating an exceptional design business and aims to do so for an elevated client experience and for her team to thrive both professionally and personally.
As a Texas A&M graduate, Hailey began working as a Registered Nurse before her creative abilities, driven spirit, and deep faith transformed her profession in 2015 into a flourishing interior design career. She spent many years designing homes alongside Joshua Ortiz where she also gained experience in project management, furniture retail and merchandising.
At the heart of the business is Hailey’s devotion to serving others and creating a unique design experience tailored to each client project. Through developing long-lasting relationships with her clients and vendors, Hailey and her team create spaces reflective of each homeowner’s personality and lifestyle.
Hailey lives in Bryan, Texas with her husband, Chad, and daughter, Collins Kate. They enjoy life out in the country with family that lives nearby, evenings filled with community, time at the barn, basketball and long walks. Apart from work, Hailey is committed to Legacy: Greek Ministries.
“I am passionately following Jesus and stewarding my creativity to serve you well. The Lord is in every part of my work and I cannot wait to share with you how He is weaving my story together.”

Senior Designer
alley matarrita
Alley’s design career began in 2012 when she took a position with Ambrose Furniture Works, a full-service design firm and custom furnishing showroom, after earning her associate’s degree in Interior Design. In her seven years with the firm, Alley gained experience as both designer and showroom manager. From design to implementation, including project management and procurement, Alley built a diverse portfolio of work in Texas, Oklahoma and Illinois.
-
Alley’s childhood uniquely positioned her to appreciate luxury design. Growing up in her lakeside family home in Ohio, designed by Denise VanScoder-Williams of VanScoder Interiors, she was surrounded by the high level of design that she came to expect in her own work. Alley also had the privilege of enjoying time in her family vacation home, a multi-penthouse condo in Boca Raton, Florida, designed by AD100 Interior Designer Tessi Garcia. From the colonial revival style lake house in Ohio to the modern and technologically-advanced beachfront penthouse in Florida, Alley gained her appreciation for meaningful design, quality craftmanship and materials, and uniquely functional spaces.
In her own design work, Alley adores the timeless look of cherished antiques and thoughtfully-procured original art, infusing them into any space. Her personal aesthetic is layered and storied, full of texture, color and pattern. However, her design work is highly-customized and purposed to express the innate and natural aesthetic of each client.
Alley is married to her husband of 16 years, David, and has two beautiful young children. Anyone who meets Alley knows that she loves dogs and particularly her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Hazen. Her family loves to spend their time together at home, with friends and at church. And they travel whenever they can! Both Alley and David are devoted to sharing God’s love in marriage ministry. Alley has a heart for women who have endured trauma and hopes to encourage them in their healing journey toward Christ!

KENDALL BONE
Kendall is a College Station native and graduate of Texas A&M University, where she earned a
bachelor’s degree in Architecture with a minor in Business.
Her love for interior design began at a young age, rearranging her room and redecorating her
family’s home. That early curiosity has since evolved into a passion for creating thoughtful,
functional spaces that reflect the lives and personalities of the people who live in them.
-
As the Junior Designer and Project Manager at Hailey Kolbe Design, Kendall brings both creativity and organization to every stage of the design process, from concept to completion. She supports the design development process by creating floor plans, curating design selections, and collaborating with the team to refine concepts, while also coordinating installations and overseeing project timelines to ensure each project is executed smoothly. She also manages client communication and project logistics, serving as a key point of coordination between clients, vendors, and the design team to ensure projects remain organized, on schedule, and aligned with each client's vision.
In addition to her experience at Hailey Kolbe Design, Kendall has also worked for a full-service interior design firm in Houston, Texas, as well as an architecture firm in Fredericksburg, TX. Both further developed her skills in space planning, sourcing, and client-facing presentations. These hands-on experiences deepened her understanding of the design industry and sharpened her ability to balance aesthetics with functionality.
With a genuine heart for design and for serving others, Kendall is passionate about using her gifts to create warm, inviting environments that feel like home. She is grateful to be a part of the Hailey Kolbe Design team, where she shares God’s love and faithfulness through her work each day.
